Brosnan Risk Consultants®️ (BRC) kicked off the 2019 Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) Impact program by sponsoring the Southern Slam Golf Outing for the second consecutive year.

The outing, held at the University of Florida, benefited the Brave Overt Leaders of Distinction (BOLD)- a program for young men previously incarcerated who need assistance re-entering their communities. The Gainesville-born organization was started in 2010 and serves men ages 16-24 by: providing resources for formal education and substance abuse counseling, training in employable skills, addressing mental health needs and encouraging the establishment of a stable living environment. BOLD’s mission advocates the three E's: Education, Enlistment and Employment.

The LPRC Impact program consists of presentations, panel discussions and “Learning Labs,” all designed with the goal of helping attendees understand how to use research and technology to reduce crime and loss, while increasing sales.

Brosnan Smart Trucks®️ and a Mobile Command Center (MCC) were on display for the 400+ attendees at the LPRC opening reception.  The Brosnan Team gave personal tours of the MCC and Smart Trucks to outline capabilities and uses to a number of loss prevention executives.

"The MCC is the future of security/crisis management- it eliminates the critical time lag typically associated with Emergency Operations Centers,” said Jeff Powers, BRC Security Consultant. “By being mobile, the MCC is able to be directly in the heart of the matter and in control when it comes to protecting people, assets and brands."
